2026
2026 proved to be another brilliant year for Buntingford Shorts with a record-breaking number of entries (1788) and a record turnout for our local showcase event!
At our local event, all present directors were able to introduce their film and connect with other like minded producers afterwards. These connections are at the core of what Buntingford Shorts is all about!
Our local showcase saw 6 filmmakers based in Hertfordshire and surrounding counties introduce their film and hear live feedback from our panel of judges, Louis Holder, Saphron Barley and last year's local winner James Farrell. Their feedback was both fascinating and incredibly useful for the directors going forwards.
For our international awards we enjoyed 6 winning films across the categories listed above. We were delighted to welcome back three Buntingford Shorts alumni as our judges: Radheya Jang, Daniel Kolotov and Christian Attree. Their feedback was really insightful and gave the finalists lots to think about!
